  KHE designs and fabricates process equipments in accordance with the international design codes   and standards such as ASME Section , Div 1, Div. 2, HEI, TEMA, API, ASTM, ANSI, AWS, BS,   DIN and JIS. Our engineering is capable of accommodating any other codes Depending on customer's   request.

  Thermal design of heat exchanger is obtained through commercial soft wares such as HTFS and HTRI.   Process conditions and material of construction are thoroughly considered. Sensitivity analysis   ensures optimal thermal design of the heat exchanger.

  All the heat exchangers we designed include stress analysis. Erosion by the fluid and local stress are   part of the considerations to ensure reliability and efficiency of the heat exchanger. Mechanical design   of shell and tube heat exchanger is obtained through MECHX of HTFS. Our in-house developed   software incorporates API 661, HEI, ASME sect. Div1, and TEMA codes into the design.
